All Crews International is back! We return with some more monthly bulletins introducing Jungle Drum & Bass crews around the world..
We’re on a South American tip this week checking in with some Jungle heads from Chile..
DJ Bristol

Please tell our All Crews readers about Bristol Muziq.
I'm a collector and music lover. I started DJing in 1998 at parties for friends and quickly moved into clubs. I've been a key figure in the Drum and Bass scene in Chile, organizing parties and festivals. Today, I own a record store (Bristol Muziq), which I've run for eight years. I teach DJing with vinyl and I have a party called So Liquid that has revolutionized the local scene.
Please tell us about the Jungle/Drum n' Bass scene in Chile.
The first D&B parties in Chile began in 1995 when there was no electronic music culture. We had just regained democracy and Chile had a strong cultural appetite. It has been a very difficult road of resistance and struggle to keep this scene alive. We have had important guests such as Roni Size, DJ Marky, TC, Bryan Gee, among others.
This year we celebrate 30 years of D&B with a retrospective by So Liquid at Citylab, a very important venue for culture in Chile.
Who are some Chilean Jungle/Drum n' Bass Producers that people should know about?
I can name three of my favorites: Ciland, B-Science, and Fat Pablo. They're always releasing music on different labels around the world. With Ciland and B-Science, we made an EP for DNBB Records (Brazil) called "So Good EP," full of groove, soul, and deep drum and bass. It generated a lot of buzz, and I highly recommend listening to it.

Please tell our All Crews readers about Under Bass.
Underbass is a Chilean Drum & Bass collective duo founded and led by Jorge Vásquez (B-Science) and Hans Cornejo (Hbros). Founded in 2021, we are a drum & bass collective and community that provides a platform for emerging DJs through our events in Santiago, Chile, and fosters a strong musical community.
Give some background on your production history, what labels have you released on and how long have you been producing Jungle/ Drum n' Bass?
I've been a Drum and Bass producer for over 10 years, releasing tracks on various labels such as Soul Deep Recordings (USA), Luv Disaster Records (Brazil), and Onyx Recordings (UK), collaborating with DJ Andy, Acuna, and DJ Marnel, and receiving support from major artists like Roni Size, Danny Bird, Bryan Gee, Level 2, DJ Patife, and Critical Dub. A lot of new music from my project will be released soon, around the end of December 2025 and the beginning of 2026.
Who are some of your musical inspirations?
My inspirations are Break, S.P.Y, Marcus Intalex, Random Movement, Serum, Makoto, and Mefjus.

Please tell our All Crews readers about Drums Bla Radio.
Drumsbla means everything to me. It's a radio show that has been a vital part of the Drum and Bass scene. For over 15 years on the air, Drumsbla has given a platform to up-and-coming DJs, established DJs, and renowned producers. Drumsbla aims to showcase the vast amount of hidden talent out there, talent, love, and passion for the sound that has yet to be discovered worldwide. So many fans follow this sound, yet they don't always have a stage to perform on. We want this show to be a home for them, the platform they need, and the place where everyone who loves Drum and Bass can come together.
Who are some Chilean DJ's that you enjoy playing with that always smash the dance?
Over time, I've had the pleasure of meeting many DJs, and they all have something that sets them apart. I really enjoy listening to and being able to quickly ignite the dance floor with their track selection. One of my absolute favorites in Chile is considered a legend within Drum and Bass. He's considered the "godfather" for being one of the first Drum and Bass DJ's in Chile. His name is Franklin Roach, and I'm a huge admirer of his technique and the way he creates diverse atmospheres in his DJ sets. He's definitely someone I enjoy listening to and watching play.
Obviously, there are many more DJs I admire and respect, such as Blacksoul, Armando, Fat Pablo, and Bristol. They've been fundamental to the Drum and Bass scene since its inception. Then there are Diegomc, DJ Mcpab, Nicky L, Frantik, Dani Mach, Inguerzon, and Drumblack. They're also important figures in the scene.
Please tell us about Abstrakt LTD.
How would I describe Abstrakt in one word? It's music. Abstrakt is a clothing brand that carries the DNA of the electronic music scene. Abstrakt was born from the combination of streetwear and music. As a fan of both worlds, the goal is to take our character (the sheep) to record stores, to have "Abstrakt days" where only the music matters, to skate down the street listening to your favorite playlist. The aim is for Abstrakt to be considered the skin of ravers.

Please tell our All Crews readers about WHY NOT?
I've been in the Drum and Bass scene for 17 years, and my musical style is DNB Jump Up. In 2021, we created Underbass in Santiago, Chile.
Tell who are some newer Jungle/Drum N' Bass artists in Chile, who people should know about?
There are several DJs in Chile, but the new generations are far removed from what constitutes a true DJ school.
What are a couple of the most memorable moments you've had DJ'ing?
The moments I remember most are playing in Brazil at Forbass for a large audience with my particular style, Jump Up UK, and here in Chile playing with the mentors of Drum and Bass, Santiago de Chile
